Starcraft 2 comes out on he 27th of July. I have already pre-purchased my copy. Are there any other ppl out there who may be interested in getting it to play online?

I'm probably not keen on pre-ordering but if I can get it for the right price I will buy it if people are going to play online.

is it worth the hype... after upgrading my bios in my 3g modem my internet is reaching normalish speeds again, so i could potential game again online...

It is worth the hype. It's a very well made game. I've only tried the multiplayer but I suspect the single player is pretty good too. The multiplayer has exceeded my expectations in some ways. It's so strange that it sticks so closely to the original but it is still great 12 years on. Maybe thats just testement to how good the original was.
Having said that, it does take a bit of dedication and practice to play. If you aren't willing to do that it might not be fun. Unless you like losing before you've built an offensive unit.

I'm enjoying the challenge and can usually manage a couple of marines before I gg  I was just trying to explain that its a pretty intense hardcore multiplayer experience that a casual player is probably not going to enjoy.

i think the match making system is pretty awesome, so I think its a lot easier for noobs to have half a chance compared to other rts's in the past
